[스크랩] 약국에 금방 다녀 올게요/딸꾹질이 안 멈춰

▶ '신뢰를 잃으면 존립이 불가능하다'; '무신불립'(無信不立) ... - 공자-

    공자가 제시한 정치의 핵심 3요소; 첫째, 식량(足食), 둘째, 군대(足兵), 셋째, 신뢰(民信之)다.

   

   이 세 가지 요소 가운데 부득이 한 가지를 빼야 한다면 무엇을 뺄 것인지를 제자인 자공이 물으니

군대를, 다음은 먹는 것을 포기하라고 했다. 백성들의 신뢰가 없으면(無信) 조직의 존립자체가 불가

능하다(不立)고 했다.... 가족이나 조직원간의 무한한 신뢰, 소비자에 대한 제품의 신뢰, 국가 경영에 대한 무한한 신뢰가 있으면 어지간한 위기가 닥쳐도 기사회생은 얼마든지 가능하다.

☞ '신뢰'야 말로 미래의 경쟁력이자 놓칠 수 없는 가치'이다.

 

▶ 신언불미(信言不美) ;  진실한 말은 그럴 듯하게 꾸미지 않는다.

1. 약국에 금방 다녀 올게요.   I'll run to the drug store.  <I'll go and come back.(X)>

B: Do you think you need to see the doctor?

B: No, we ran out.<don't have any more>  I'll run to the drug store and get you some.

 

2. 딸꾹질이 안 멈춰.       I can't stop hiccupping.

A: I have the hiccups. I can't stop hiccupping.

B: Hold your breath<Try not to breathe> for as long as you can.

    It's a good idea to take small drinks of water.
