A performance of Mozart's Violin Concerto # 2 in D major is played and conducted by Russian violinist and conductor Maxim Vergerov. Vengerov is also completely adept at the Viola as well. Vengerov was born on 20 August 1974 in Novosibirsk, Russia, to a Jewish family with a strong musical tradition.
